The SABC and MultiChoice’s Supersport have reached a commercial agreement that will allow the public broadcaster to broadcast Premier Soccer League matches for the next five years. The agreement covers radio and television. The SABC’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Madoda Mxakwe, said the public broadcaster would continue to discharge its public mandate in a manner which is not only sustainable for the organisation, but also ensures that the South African public have access to sport of national interest such as the PSL. The broadcasts will start on Saturday with the match between Black Leopards and Highlands Park on SABC 1 @ 15h00.
