The South African international touring production of the iconic Broadway and West End musical, CHICAGO, continues to receive rave reviews abroad. Showtime Management says Chinese critics and audiences just love the show, as was the case when the production opened in New Zealand in August this year. The acclaimed musical and film, known for the songs, All That Jazz and Razzle Dazzle among other, premières in Beijing this week, before opening in Guangzhou in early December. Just before Christmas, Chicago opens in Shanghai where it will run until late January next year. In mid-March 2019 the show returns to Artscape in the Mother City after eleven years, since becoming one of South Africa’s most successful productions to date. It will also be staged at the Teatro in Montecasino (Fourways) from April, before embarking on a tour of Europe in June.
