The South African Police Service in conjunction with the City of Cape Town’s Metro Police have launched a manhunt for two men involved in the fatal shooting and robbery of a 45-year-old woman on the N1 highway yesterday. The woman had stopped along the highway when her motorcycle broke down. One of the three men involved in the crime has already been apprehended by the police. Metro police spokesperson, Ruth Solomons, says he was arrested in Kensington: “They found a fully loaded 38 revolver on top of a wardrobe, ten live rounds of ammunition as well as different bank cards and a driver’s licence in a dust bin. It was later found that the cards belonged to the woman who was robed on the N1 under the N7 bridge earlier that day.”
