The Western Cape Department of Environmental Affairs
says the average dam level in the province is currently 41.9 percent. It’s 20 percent higher than at the same time last year. The province’s biggest dam, Theewaterskloof is currently at 41.8 percent – which is 30 percent higher than last year. Voëlvlei Dam is at 67 percent, Berg River dam 75 percent and the Clanwilliam dam is 37.4 percent.
