Three men have appeared briefly in the Cape Town Magistrates Court in connection with the murder of prominent defence advocate Pete Mihalik. Sizwe Biyela, Nkosinathi Khumalo and Vuyile Maliti were arrested after Mihalik was shot dead while dropping off his children at school last month. His eight-year-old son was wounded in the attack. The case has been postponed to the 13th of December for further investigation. The accused face charges of murder, attempted murder and the possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition. They will remain in custody.
