Police in Dutywa arrested two men, aged 22 and 24, for allegedly business burglary following an incident at a local school.
“Both suspects were arrested on Thursday,” said police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha.
“It is alleged that a Junior Secondary School was broken into on the 24th August 2018 during the night at Laza Locality, Nqabarha Village, Dutywa.”
The suspects apparently fled with computers and the CPUs of the school.
“The Computers and the CPUs were recovered from the suspects. They are valued R17 000.”
Capt Manatha said that the suspects will appear before the Dutywa Magistrate’s Court on Monday on charges of business burglary.
