Two unidentified people have lost their lives in separate traffic incidents in Cape Town last night. Western Cape Traffic Chief, Kenny Africa, says a pedestrian was knocked down on the N-Two at Macassar near Somerset West. In the other incident, another pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at Brighton on the N-One outside the city limits. In other traffic news Baden Powell Drive has been closed between Strandfontein Road and Muizenberg in the Southern Peninsula due to thick sand on the road. This was caused by strong wind in the Cape since yesterday. Motorists and drivers have been advised to use alternate roads. Traffic personnel is at the scene.
