Unacceptable. Ballistics records for armed robberies & violent crimes need to be made public alongside the ballistics & serial number details for firearms stolen from police & military.

There are too many suggestions that these “thefts” are in fact illegal selling of firearms, which if true should be viewed as treason.

  1. A 9mm is available on black market for a R1000. Cheaper to buy of the record. Then go thru the channels. Just saying…….

  2. I wonder how and will the police responsible now be criminally charged and dismissed from the force. This can not carry on like this. When I was in the army, we dove into freezing crocodile infested water to recover a rifle that fell off the bridge we were guarding. That is how much respect we had for government equipment and particularly firearms. Your rifle was your true BFF and was never out of sight. What has changed?
