An extension was granted for people who reside in the area to collect their permits until Friday, 24 May at noon. These can be collected at the reception area of Loftus Versfeld in Kirkness Street.
Isaac Mahamba, Tshwane metro police spokesperson says there are a number of people who are yet to collect their permits.
“Metro police and other law enforcement agencies will be deployed at all street closures and other affected streets,” said Mahamba.
“All residents and road users are urged to comply and work together with law enforcement officers to avoid any mishaps.”
