UPDATE: Storms continue to lash Gauteng, thunderstorms threaten in other areas

Storms continue relentlessly all over Gauteng and are brewing in other parts of the nation, the SA Weather Carrier (SAWS) said on Sunday.

“We quiet maintain storms, largely over the Metropolis of Tshwane,” said forecaster Mbavhi Maliage.

A warning had been sent out for flooding in Tshwane.

On Saturday, the climate carrier issued a detect for extreme thunderstorms all over Gauteng, and autos were caught in flash floods and roads were blocked as low climate and hail lashed parts of the province.
