Body found in the north was identified as Tsatsi Mokoena.
The body of a man discovered by Ga-Rankuwa police has been identified as Tsatsi Shimmy Mokoena, his family confirmed.
Mokoena, believed to have been in his 30s, who resided in Rustenburg, was last seen in the early hours of Sunday.
On Tuesday, Ga-Rankuwa police confirmed that the body of a man had been found lying face down not far from the road.

“Presently the cause of death is unknown since there were no visible injuries nor bruises on his body which might suggest any form of assault,” said Ga-Rankuwa police spokesperson Captain Matthews Nkoadi.
He said preliminary investigations apparently revealed Mokoena might have been killed elsewhere before his body was dumped in the bushes.
“There were signs he was dragged next to the road and there were visible tyre marks where he was found.”
Nkoadi said an inquest docket has been opened and requested anyone with information to contact the police.
