Three people have been injured in this morning’s Worcester tanker explosion. The tanker was transporting liquefied petroleum gas. The driver reversed into a lamp pole causing damage to the tank that then lead to the explosion. MEC for Environmental Affairs Anton Bredell says the situation is under control. Two firefighters suffered minor injuries, and a civilian with burn injuries has been admitted to ICU. Five buildings and two vehicles were destroyed. The Breede Valley Fire Department is attending to the scene.
