Western Cape Minister of Community Safety, Albert Fritz, has condemned the burning of a…

Western Cape Minister of Community Safety, Albert Fritz, has condemned the burning of a soldier in his car last weekend. The SANDF has confirmed that the 41 year old victim was a soldier deployed for Operation Lockdown. After the fire was extinguished, the vehicle was searched and a body burnt beyond recognition was discovered in the boot. Fritz says two suspects aged 24 and 43 years old have been arrested in connection with the incident. “I call on SAPS to work in an integrated manner to firstly determine whether this was a gang-related murder and secondly to ensure the arrest, conviction and incarceration of gang leaders who may have given the directive to kill an SANDF soldier. The SANDF have been deployed to assist us in safeguarding the province and we must do everything in our power to support them in this regard.”

  1. Condolences to family and friends. This is so sad. Praying for protection for the police and soldiers who are trying to bring stability to the country.

  2. My sincerest condolences to the family 👏

I’m reading all the comments and seems everyone is singing from the same sheet…

In contrast, if the police take off the gloves against these criminals and gangsters, we the public are the first to shout human right’s abuse and abuse of power from the rooftops.

  3. Now help has been brought to ourdoor step to us safe especially the women and children. How embarrassing that its taken for granted whatever the circumstances are…. to kill our “helpers” 😭 sad. My condolences to friends, colleagues and family.
