One of the suspects assaulted the elderly man on his head with the butt of the firearm. The victim alleges that he was at his place of residence when he noticed a grey Hatchback vehicle reversing into his yard.
The five men exited the vehicle and entered the house through the kitchen door, which was left open. It is further alleged that the complainant’s wife had left the door open while she went to visit her neighbour.
The suspects loaded the items into the vehicle and fled.
