Tongaat Panthers multisport athletes, Anesh Rampurtab and Naren Rajkumar, who take part in ultra marathons as well, have included cycling in their training programme.
Having recently completed the 106km Amashova Cycle from Pietermaritzburg to Durban, they together with Preshan Sukeri, a former Tongaat resident, participated in the Telkom 94.7 cycle race in Fourways, Gauteng, recently.
The blistering 38 degree hot temperature and the hilly course was manoeuvred well by Panthers members.
